Ferraris
It is no secret - but not quite common knowledge - that Ferrari is my favorite carmaker in the world. There are some Lamborghinis that I am quite fond of (such as the Murcielago) and I love the Aston Martin Vanquish, but there is no doubt that on the whole, Ferrari does it for me. My dream car would be the 550 Maranello, or barring that the F512M. And who can deny the beauty of the Ferrari 250 GT California - best known for its appearance in Ferris Bueller's Day Off?
I have models of all these favorites, though there's nothing like the real thing. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to photograph too many of them. Usually I see Ferraris when I'm totally unprepared - in other words, I don't have my camera with me. So this is just the beginning of this project; I will be adding this as I find more Ferraris to photograph. Anyone who can put me in touch with organizations or owners willing to provide cars for me to photograph, please email me.
One owner who I've worked with on several occasions now is Will, from Maine. Will sold the 328GTS that you will see below, bought and then sold a Testarossa (which I didn't get any good shots of), and then bought this 348 Spyder, which I believe to be from 1995. He's selling it now, so if you're interested, email me and I'll put you in touch with him.

2006 Concurso Ferrari
Some of the shots I got from the weekend o Ferrari at the Concurso held annually at the Connecticut state capitol building.

Here are two Ferraris from a few years back. Both owners, Tony and Will, were very generous with their time in allowng me to shoot their fine vehicles, and I thank them for that.

Here is Will's former 328 GTS, which I just happened to encounter on my way out of Lime Rock Park over 4th of July weekend in 2005.

Another profile just in case you couldn't get enough of this fine automobile. I know I couldn't.
I went to a vintage auto show over Labor Day weekend and saw a lot of cars that really didn't interest me; I don't need to see 45 Cobras with their hoods open. I want to see the good stuff; and here's one of them, a Daytona Spyder. I think it's a 1967, but don't quote me on that.

Another Ferrari I had a chance to get at Lime Rock Park, but in a different capacity. This one was pulled over to the side of the road and wouldn't start up for the owner, who was disappointed that I was taking a picture of his car when it was disabled, but I figured that my chances of seeing another Dino GT on the road was pretty much a million to one, so I had to take the shot then. And here it is.
That's all I've got for now. Any help would be welcome!
